  I was hosting a party to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary. I ordered a cake that was 1/2 orange & 1/2 key lime. (I know, a funny combination, but I was so sick of the chocolate & vanilla cake combinations that I've enjoyed over the summer with all the grad parties.)
  I also asked them to decorate it in my wedding colors: peach & aqua...with some silver accents. It was not only perfectly decorated...it was DELICIOUS!! It was the most moist cake I've ever eaten.
  I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for helping make my special day that much more special.

  Unfortunately booked this place for my wedding, and we ended up cancelling.
  When I signed the contract I was told that $50 deposit was due and was non-refundable. When I cancelled my wedding, I was told by the manager that I was not getting a refund- which I did not want. I did expect my moneys worth in return in baked goods however since the $50 was going towards the total amount that I was going to pay therefore I had essentially already paid for $50 worth of cupcakes.
  The manager informed me and my now ex fiance that that $50 was not going to be given to us in the form of baked goods since they " spent time on us."
  Our wedding was scheduled for August so we canceled well in advance. She told us because we got samples that they need to reimburse themselves for that amount- so essentially I still could have gotten 18 cupcakes with what we paid- and that would have reimbursed her for what she spent.
  She put no other time into our wedding yet, since it is not until August... This manager is incapable of giving rational reason. Perhaps this isn't her policy but learn to deal with customers- especially during hard times. Would it have killed her to give us our money's worth in cupcakes? Doubt it. I don't appreciate being ripped off, but I also don't appreciate a person who can't handle conflict. If you want to run a proper functioning bakery learn to deal with upset customers. A shame- since she does make wonderful product. Would have booked her for future events if she hadn't ripped us off.
  I get I signed a contract- but I didn't want a refund. I wanted my money's worth in baked goods, and the contract doesn't say I can't have that when booking. Perhaps the manager should reword her contract to make this more clear and to cover herself- unless she wants customers to continue thinking she is ripping them off.
